Terms
These terms explain how QR Forever & Always may be used to create memorials, share respectful tributes, manage QR links, and request optional real-world memorial services.
Respectful use
Memorials and tributes must be lawful, accurate to the contributor’s knowledge and respectful of the person being remembered and their family.
Family moderation
Memorial owners may review, decline or remove contributions. Platform moderators may remove or restrict content that is abusive, fraudulent, unsafe, unlawful, inaccurate, invasive of privacy, or otherwise unsuitable for a memorial service. Anyone can report a concern from a memorial page or by contacting support.
Services and providers
Availability, included work, provider details, full price and cancellation terms must be shown before payment when paid services are enabled. Providers remain responsible for completing accepted real-world work safely, lawfully, respectfully, and within the agreed scope.
Requests and payment
Submitting a service request does not guarantee acceptance and does not itself take payment. If commerce is activated, payment must use the checkout presented for the accepted order. A checkout return page is not proof of payment; the platform’s verified payment record controls. Raw card details are handled by the payment processor and are not stored by QR Forever & Always.
Cancellations and refunds
Unpaid requests may be cancelled according to their order status. Paid cancellations, partial work, non-delivery, refunds, disputes, fraud checks, and provider costs may require administrator review. Nothing in these terms limits non-waivable consumer rights that apply under UK law.
Accounts and communications
Users are responsible for protecting their credentials and for accurate contact information. Service-order communication must remain relevant and respectful. QR scans do not create permission to identify or contact another visitor.
QR codes and memorial plaques
Families can generate QR artwork for memorial use. The person placing a QR plaque, marker, card, or printed code is responsible for obtaining any permission required by the cemetery, churchyard, crematorium, landowner, venue, or memorial authority.
Availability and changes
The service may be updated, paused, or restricted to protect users, maintain security, comply with law, or improve reliability. If a provision of these terms is not enforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, except where local consumer protection law gives a user mandatory rights that cannot be changed by contract.
